In everything we do, we strive to simultaneously learn and educate. In most instances, the communities we work with teach us much more than we teach them. Education is a participative process within the IFSC model; IFSC teams and local communities share knowledge with the objective of improving old ideas and fostering new ones to help develop communities.

Through this process all parties teach, learn, and are mutually empowered. Education plays its role in all of our projects. In our business projects we teach business concepts, in Public Health outreaches, such as square foot gardening and adobe stoves, we couple our trainings with educational materials and lessons that teach important nutrition and health principles
